this is what cool looks like

i'm sitting at the dining room table with my laptop, my wine glass half -full of Charles Shaw Chardonnay; the remaining wine is in the bottle close by.  The smell of burnt popcorn wafts in the air, probably attaching itself to every strand of this hair and making me smell horrid.  My roommate sits on the living room floor a few feet away from me, eating said burnt popcorn and watching our DVR'd episodes of Big Brother. 

We just got finished laughing at a joke someone said in the IRC chat I frequent; I read the joke out loud to her.   My roommate indulges my geekiness.

I'm sipping the Chardonnay and thinking about how very cool my life is right now.

This is also the definition of fashionably nerdy.
