i'm sleepy
I went to bed at a decent hour last night but I still feel incredibly sleepy. Yesterday before I went to work I had two huge cups of coffee. I didn’t feel sleepy at all after that. Too bad I didn’t set up the coffee maker last night. I could definitely use the coffee now. Unfortunately I have to leave in about 25 minutes and I am not even dressed yet. No time for homemade coffee I guess. Perhaps a trip to Starbucks?

but at least i'm trying to eat better
I am one of those people that spends a ton of money eating out every week. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is always bought from some place or other. In an effort to curb that bad spending habit, I went to the grocery store last night and bought food to eat for dinner and breakfast. Now my only bought meal will be lunch during the day. We usually order lunch each day anyway, and Applebees has the bomb Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad. I am hooked on those things. Mango Nectar is good.

i still have that video game addiction
I haven’t played GTA 3 in *gasp* two days. Let the healing and recovery begin. For the first few days I was playing that game so much I was having dreams about it. Coming up with strategies to beat the missions in my sleep. Thanks to Anitra and Steph I’ve made it to the second island where the missions are a little tougher but just as exciting. Lately though I’ve been playing sniper. I’ll sit on the roof of some building with the sniper rifle and just pick people off as they are walking down the streets of Liberty City. When the police come chasing after me I snipe them too. When the helicopter comes I shoot it down with my rocket launcher. I’m trying hard to get the FBI after me (you need 5 wanted stars) so I can steal their car. I heard it’s worth a lot of money in the game. So far no luck. The one time I did succeed in getting 5 stars, I accidentally drove myself off a bridge and into the ocean because the brakes in the car I was driving didn’t respond fast enough. Damn, I love that game.

guys who love prince rule my world
The other night a friend hooked me up with 13 MP3’s of Prince playing all acoustic. I may be tempted to share a few of these because they are just awesome and you have to hear it. I’m too lazy to upload now. Remind me again later because you know how easily I’ll forget I said it.

i guess i should say something
I disagree with people who think reparations are bad for race relations and should not be discussed. I think open dialogue is important or we will never improve any kind of relations in this country. I think that’s all I’m going to say about that because someone (possibly even someone I love) is going to piss me off undoubtedly. I’ve seen the comments and discussions on other people’s sites. I’ve seen some downright ignorance too. Open your eyes people.
