back down memory lane
Last night I was going through folders on my hard drive and I read through all the archives for this site, from beginning to end. There was an entire year of hideous kinky history hidden in folders on my deteriorating desktop machine. Some of the old entries made me smile and some of them made me think “Jesus, did I write this crap?” It was a good experience and it made me realize just how far I’ve come both as a webmistress (cause I really am one, right?) and a writer.

I’m going to archive them all back onto the site. It’s a project that is going to take some time, but I’m willing to do it because I am proud of where I‘ve been and where I’m going and I feel like sharing. I think it’s essential to leave the history of this site intact. There were some true gems back in the day! I felt tingly all over reading them. I never realized how much haiku I had. And how much I share. I share a lot. I guess that’s just me. All of it is a part of me and I want it all to be back on the site. I think it would be cool.

Going back to Cali
I’m going to get up Friday morning and drive out to L.A. I’ll be staying at my Granny’s this time so I’m going to put in some time with her and the rest of the L.A. relations. Maybe even spend some time with the diva herself. The African Marketplace is taking place this weekend. It’s been about 8 years since I’ve had an opportunity to attend it so I plan on visiting that. A friend invited me to go on a shopping trip at Ontario Mills and although I know it’s a dangerous mission I am going to take it because I cannot resist. I have a pair of shoes that I need to exchange at Bloomingdales and we don’t have one out here. Beverly Center here I come.

I finally found the man. Her pimp. Yeah baby. It’s been while since I’ve blown my lungs out and me and mary were happy to see each other I think. I was happy to see her. It’s going to be a great weekend.

I got my King Britt cd in the mail today. I hear I’m not the only one having problems with them to. I still love y’all, I’m not hating, but get it together.

Things at work are getting better. I must learn to maintain a positive attitude. I’m trying. It’s a habit that has to be built.
