I am FULLY aware of the fact that i TYPE FAST. I do not need it pointed out to me everytime someone walks by my god damn desk. "Damn girl you type fast" "How many word do you type a minute?" "Damn I wish I could type that fast" "Damn you should do medical billing/court reporting/transcribing etc"
I HAVE A JOB. I don't need these suggestions nor do I need the reminder every single time you walk by my god damn desk that I type fast. I use my own fucking hands. I know how fucking fast I can type!!!!!!!!!
So just to address all the stupid questions and comments from the same three people here at the job (and I know you read this page) -
I type 125wpm with a 0.1% error rate.
Yes I have been a secretary before. I didn't like it. Probably had something to do with me being smarter than my boss.
No I don't want to nor have I ever considered a career in court reporting, medical transcription or that rip off medical billing at home shit.
Yes I am aware of how it sounds when I type. I listen to it everyday all day long.
I learned how to type in 6th grade when I got a jr typewriter for Christmas. The skill was further reinforced when my father forced me to take typing instead of a free period in 8th grade.
No I don't have to look at my fingers when I typing. Yes I can even type the numeric keys too.
Yes I also do ten key by touch.
No, I don't think I'd take another secretary job even if it was paying high.
My major in college was English 3.8 average. Yes I typed all my own papers.
No I don't want to teach. I have no idea what that has to do with my typing but ok.
Yes, I really am sitting over here typing words. No I'm not typing lskjdflwkdjlfasijeolsdkjalskdjf;lasdkfjl;sdfj over and over again. That wouldn't even sound like real typing would it?
Enough already. You're getting on my nerves.
